Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It's on Tuesday! Tuesday will be a BIG day!

edit: Not to jinx, but maybe we'll be able to add a toast to a new job!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

For me, too! That's when the movers come and the cable is transferred and all that good stuff.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh, billytea, I'm so happy to see your update. Going home has been so good for you, and you're clearly building something new and happy and strong for yourself. Toastmasters sounds like an excellent mixer for you as well. It's such good news.

Now tagless for your comfort.

You have NO idea how startling this is to read in the morning skip n' skim.

Hee. Sorry.

Boy's napping. I should either be cleaning or laundry or napping. Instead, I'm making a valiant attempt to catch up online. Realized the checking account is scarily low due to unchecked vacation spending.

But since we actually won money on our short trip to a casino in Laughlin, NV, have $500 to deposit. The craps table was kind to us (and it helps that DH knows the best odds and payouts).

What a wonderful way to start the day and the thread -- good things for billytea and vw!

My husband's family are all regular gamblers, and most of them work on the boats near KC. I have recommended the book, Bringing Down the House to my DH, which should be something he'd like (math! non-fiction!) but he won't read it because he doesn't like to hear the odds against winning.

re: Revenge of the Sith.

The PG-13 rating is no joke. If you have young/sensitive kids, try to see it before they do so you know the parts where you might want to take preventative action.

Let's just say that Vader didn't go evil by jaywalking.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

billytea, I am so glad to hear you are doing so well. You had a crapper of a time there for awhile and you deserve so much happiness!

Yay, vw!! Interviewing queen!

connie, without going into detail, was Revenge of the Sith good? I saw Ep. 1 and thought it blew. Didn't even bother seeing Ep. 2. And, if Ep 3 is good and I do go see it, do I need the backstory from Ep 2?
