Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

She bit me once and I was so done.

Yeah, I'd probably be going "teething = weaning" m'self.

That was before she had any teeth! She still doesn't, but if it hurt that much without.....

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Also, note: nursing toddlers kill threads.

I was BF until I was about 19 or 20 months, I think, and was weaned on account of having a brother on the way. I remember being jealous watching him nurse.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sounds like a bad baby to me. Bad baby!

I may have to break Lily of her habit of regulating flow by pulling and twisting the nipple before she grows teeth.

I've heard tell that slighty flicker her cheek will do the trick.

I was too busy holding onto the ceiling to flick Em.

brillig

I was too busy holding onto the ceiling to flick Em.

The picture in my head is like a Charles Addams cartoon, with the Empress attached to the ceiling and Em attached to the Empress.

Now tagless for your comfort.

From what I hear, it's hardest to wean a kid between about 15 months and 2

We're still having bottle issues. O's just not giving it up very well. I've cut him to two a day and one of those is water (he still gets milk before bed). We're throwing them out if I can't get him off them by Labor Day. I'm just too tired to battle with him over it right now.

I'm torn. Right now, I'd rather have the pain than have her gag on an over-active letdown, as the physical pain is easier on me than seeing her startled look of betrayal when the boobie attacks.
