That's my girl, large and in-charge. Okay, teensy-weensy and in charge.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

It just seems like it's the natural order of things. Like, of course you have a date. You're Fay.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

YAY FOR FAY.

What is even happening?

Yay for your date, Fay. Actually, I saw your post, and even looked at the link, which didn't show him. And then I saw your next post, where you explained where to look, and I looked, and saw him. And he is CUTE! I don't know why I didn't say anything, except I think I thought you were probably gone by then.

Thrive to spite them

I had a very good day today. Well, after I was woken up by the Sprint guy. I forgot he was coming and was sound a sleep when he started knocking on the door. I was very cave manish in my thoughts "Mom no call?" then after I looked through the peep hole "Man. Man. MAN!!" and found a robe and answered the door, then shut it in his face while I went and put on actual clothes.

All thejacks in the house work now.

Then my friend E called and we went to breakfast and then saw Batman Begins --- we saw the Serenity trailer!!

After that we had ice cream and went our seperate ways.

I went to Vision works and got two pairs of glasses. I have rectangle tortie frames for sunglasses and rectangluar -- but not quite, purple metal frames for every day. They'll be ready on Monday. I'll post pictures on Monday.

Up with the sun

Fay, that's awesome, and I hope the date is equally awesome. The guy's profile makes him sound pretty cute.

Plei, the Lilybean has amazing eyes, judging from the color in the second photo.

We bought a second car today. I am now the proud owner of a 1999 Honda Civic two-door. It is very bright red, and fun to drive. Whoot.

brillig

I have very short hair. I do not have a digital camera, so don't ask for pictures. I also have redder hair, but not as red as I was hoping. Hubby thinks it's too short and just fine red.

It may be too short, but that's self-correcting. It's off my neck, which is bliss, but there's not enough there to curl properly. It's so hard to tell how curly hair will look when it's cut wet and straight.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

It is too damn hot here. I just came back from getting my grandfather a birthday gift. He is so difficult to buy for. I ended up getting him a nice cotton jacket and two polo style shirts at Old Navy. I hope he likes them.

Tonight involves sitting and waiting for Teacup Guy to show up. I have no idea when that might be because his band is having a meeting tonight, and he doesn't know when it is going to end.

Had my ultrasound today and the wee bean has a heartbeat. Everything looks good but I was off on the due date. That's now February 11.

Yay for the wee heartbeat! Much pregnancy~ma to you! Also, happy belated anniversary to you and your dh!

So, I managed to balance my checkbook. I even had enough money left over to pay bills.

Yay, vw! I have never balanced a checkbook in my life.

There are reasons, y'all, why I watch Homicide after family occasions. And laugh and laugh at the old lady screaming "Die, you bastard, die!" as she pushes the old man down the stairs.

I t heart erika.

I've had a crappy day. I bawled on the phone before figuring out it was PMS, so thought I was just crazy and not hormonal (situationally crazy instead of permanently, I guess). I was going to get some work done, but nothing quite got accomplished, and then after dinner Aidan opened the oven door and climbed on it before I could go from hearing the sound of it opening to getting into the kitchen to stop him. I got there in time to get the stove off the top of him and Kara. Both have bruises, but nothing worse, thank goodness. I didn't scream. I just comforted and cleaned up...and shook. The gas line wasn't damaged, and only half of the leftovers were lost.

{{{Deena}}} So relieved no one was badly hurt.

sj got handed the award winning etiquette dilemma for non-family

Thank you, Deena. I humbly except.

Lilybean gets prettier every day. I can't believe anyone thinks she is a boy.

Lots of travel~ma to Daniel and Windsparrow!

Yay for new kitty, Deena!

Juliana is gorgeous as always! I don't see an residual effects from the accident at all. Just beauty.

Have a great date, Fay!!! Don't do anything I wouldn't do.

Yay, for the car, LJ! May it be good to you.

What is even happening?

Woo for the red, Connie. Do you like the length, yourself?

My hair seemed curly the first day or two of my cut, and then it wasn't. I still like it though, and right now, given our weather, am nearly standing in Hec's there's-no-such-thing-as-too-short corner. Ironically, I think the hot and humid weather is indirectly responsible for my lack of curl. My hair usually loves the stuff. I'm the person whose hair looks better in this weather. So I was wondering what was up--if it was hormones, or something. Then I realized--air conditioning also dehumidifies a house, and I think it is affecting my hair. I never noticed when it was long, because I always put it up or tied it back, in the heat.

Yay, for the red hair and the new cut, Connie. I am sure you look fabulous.
