We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Yay, for the red hair and the new cut, Connie. I am sure you look fabulous.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Fay should have a date every night!

Today I cleaned my house cause my friend (who I'm fortunate enough to work with) is coming over tonight. L made sangria yesterday and it looks sooo good! I'm also BBQing burgers. I tried something new and I'm a little afraid it won't be good. Tell me what you think. I put ground sirloin together with minced red onion, an egg, some bread crumbs, and worcester (sp?) sauce. Will this be tasty or nasty? It sounded delish in my head...

We also went to Target and bought tennis rackets and balls and are going to start playing tomorrow night. We bought gloves and a baseball about a month ago and have had a blast throwing the ball in the park near our house. Then we come home and go into the pool and then the hot tub. Then we sleep like babies. Exercise is good.

I leave on Tuesday night to go to my parents and see my niece!!! I got her an adorable classic Pooh outfit ($9.00) and classic Pooh bear ($8.00) at Target, too. Can't wait to see her. I can't believe she'll be a year in September. Time flies.

Happy weekend, everybody!

brillig

I had to run my hands through it several times, because it got brushed, which makes all the hair run the same way, which I hate. Hubby has this weird love of my hair being smoothed down, but he married a naturally curly woman, and my hair doesn't do smooth. I think it's going to need to grow out just a little before I'm completely happy, but I've got lots of short curls.

Mostly lurking...

Yay, Fay! I'm so jealous!

I'm torturing Emily right now by watching a sappy romantic comedy. Oh, how I love them.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Yay for Fay dates and CashBean heartbeats and everything else I've missed in the past 24 hours or so.

I'm mostly here to post my new favorite picture of Annabel & me: [link] My reasons for loving it will be obvious, I'm sure, but ODL am I white! I'm Bill Gates colored! Argh! Need sun even if it is evil and brings the cancer!

(And no, that's not a real baseball. It's nerfy.)

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Fay, Tom's cute! I hope you have a blast.
Hah! I so did too say something about the date. I had to go back because I thought maybe I was crazy.

What I didn't say was happy anniversary, Cashmere, which is just a shooting offense. So, erm, Happy Anniversary Cashmere and Chris!

sj, I hope teacup guy gets there soon.

Askye, I'm glad you went for the colored frames. I wanted to tell you to, but was afraid you'd hate them.

I worked a little bit today, mostly played with Aidan and also watched Monsoon Wedding. Being that the communists are marching on my position, it's probably not a surprise that I cried at various parts. Such a lovely movie. I drove Greg crazy describing the brilliance of it over dinner.

Go connie with the short, red hair. Juliana made me go rowrr, especially the picture Jen linked.

...and I've just been paged to deal with a poopy diaper. Oh joy.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Home again.

Damn cooling system decided to spring a leak at the head gasket.

Went to Wal-Mart and got a can of the advanced "Bars Leaks" and it seems to have stopped the leakage.

I'm probably heading out towards Arizona in a bit. Again.

Probably have to replace head gasket when I get back.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Damn cooling system decided to spring a leak at the head gasket.

Yikes! And you're taking a long road trip like that? Good luck!

Your car isn't overheating, is it?
