[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Huh... Liotta? (Which would make Ness more of a grey character...) Or if you wanted to go the other direction...Ivanek from Homicide.(You might know him as the ass Governor from Oz, but to me he's always Ed Danvers, and I'm always gonna wonder if he's a "stallion among ponies" or if Kay was joking.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

You might know him as the ass Governor from Oz

I call him Governor Fuckwad.

Dude, perfect. On Homicide he was so decent, in that never does it with the lights on sort of way. I liked him, though. But on Oz he seemed to relish being a dick so much that I almost didn't know it was the same man, even though he looks the exact same.ETA: Me and Zeliko, probably the only two Americans that never get carded.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

ewww, beth. That wasn't...your idea...was it?

noooooo

the man that lived here had parkinsons- and he slipped on non carpeted floors.

I justed pulled up the carpet. plain while linolium. some places it will be easy. other places will be hard. in some places they nailed the carpet down. and it is under the baseboards. Current urge is to pull up what I can ignore the stuff under the basebaords for now. have to think on this. without DH I would do it that way. but it might bug him.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Liotta has much more the right look, I think. I was going to say that he hadn't done much when it was made, but, then again, neither had Cosner.

I don't so much see Ivanek, but I'm just basing that on the IMDB photos, as I can't pull him up in my mental file.

eta: beth, at least that's something. It could be much worse. The carpet under the baseboards would bug me, but I'm like that.

Because books.

Any NYCistas about? Anyone know any traffic-related reason I shouldn't drive into the city later today instead of taking the train? It would make life a lot nicer to have the tape deck and the chance to smoke instead of being stuck on NJ Transit, and held hostage to their schedules.

Hmmm.

Mostly lurking...

I just went through three bags of unopened mail. It was pretty much all junk, of course. I just let this stuff pile up instead of getting rid of it right away. It doesn't look like I did anything, but there you have it. I did.

That's kind of his career...white guy in the suit and red tie. For good or evil. He plays attorneys, politicians, and FBI agents, mostly.

The first season, I just hated him. The second season, I began to enjoy hating him, because, like you say, he relishes being a dick so much. He's very slimy, but he's also not stupid.

I could tell ZI was having fun with it, and dude, cursing right-wingers? "Oh, as usual, dear." My sympathies were always with McManus, because I am such a McManus myself.
