Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
We should go shopping together! I don’t have one either, and I certainly deserve one!
This doesn't seem possible - at the very least very wrong and needs to be remedied!
I think it’s time for a tiara exchange. e me if you want to play and I will match up names by some arcane and random process that I will never ever reveal.

Hee!
ION - I feel very weird today. I almost passed out in the shower today. It's happened before - always almost, never quite there, though the almost is quite bad enough on its own. Seems to be a combo of hot, humid weather (and/or steamy shower), low-ish blood pressure, and not enough hydration. Had to lay down after I got out of the shower 'til the queasiness passed, but still just the slightest bit light-headed. Not bad enough to make me feel like I need to go home from work - just very weird feeling...
Ick, Epic, that's not fun. I've had problems with that since I was young, but it's positional for me- the head rush lots of people get when they get up too fast I can get from just standing up. I've only actually passed out twice in my life though. I HATE that feeling. Feel better!
Yikes, Epic! I've had that happen a few times and it always scares me. Not least because I immediately flash to all the most-accidents-happen-in-the-bathroom stats and think of everything I could hit my head on if I did keel over in the shower. Can you, I don't know, drink a bunch of water before you shower, pump up the blood volume a little? Maybe water now would help, too. Though drinking water is my answer to more problems than it really is the answer to, so, grain of salt, I suppose.

Before we start on the next one, which I agree is a grand idea, I think there are still people who haven't received their tiaras from the last one.
If this is true, please let me know, and I will start pestering people again.
Just let me know when that's settled, Perkins.
The two or three times that I've fainted, I remember thinking, "gee, I wonder if this is what it feels like to faint" and then someone is standing over me asking if I'm okay. I've never felt myself falling, and never known I lost consciousness. I remember the experiences as a continuous event.
Which is to say, Epic, if you can get home safely, go home and take care!

One of the things I've done in the past is to leave the bathroom door open - so the steam doesn't get so problematic. I haven't had to do it since last summer tho' - the heatwave we're in right now sorta snuck up on me.
And
I need to drink more water. I try to be hypervigilant about this, since my allergies are so bad I take a lot of decongestants, and I've had wooziness problems in Karate, and Swing Dance, and Kung Fu. But, these last couple weeks of the semester have been so hectic that I've been letting "nutrition" slip, and that seems to include drinking enough water, apparently.

Yes, this. Although, I think I worry more "what if someone found me like this?" than the head-hitty stuff (which is really stupid considering my record for face-plants - ah, but Vanity, she is a strong one)
-t, I say go ahead and start this one, and I will follow up on the last one separately.
Also, feel better, ET, and be careful.
Funnily enough, every time I have actually fainted, I felt much better afterwards than all the times I felt like I was about to faint and didn't. It's been a good few years since either happened, which I hope continues.
