Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Alpha-bits?

Hey, in Yuma they didn't shut the flight line down until the temperature of the flight line reached 140. It happened, often.

Well, bodily systems start shutting down at about 107. Much hotter than that when riding my bike to work in the afternoon, and I lose the energy to cuss at my fate. And? I shiver and get goosebumps.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Congratulations, amych!!!!

And bug mum wooohoooo too!

He was told not to talk to strangers so whenever people (who were looking for him) drove or rode past him, he hid.
Poor kid.

Someone should bring me a piece of pizza and a beer. Or some taquitos and a beer. Or run me a bath. With a beer. t pause I should have stopped to get beer.

Mostly lurking...

Thanks for all the good wishes for Mom Bug. I will be sure to pass them along.

I am home from the work event. All went well. It was nice to be able to chat with people and get to know them outside of work a bit. There was an after party that I was invited to, but I decided not to go, because I was fading quickly. Probably a good idea since I got lost and panicky on the way home.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm detecting a theme. A theme of beer.

wOOt. I got hold of my mom, finally. She now knows I am going to be living in sin with Daniel. And now that I am mentally letting go of her, in so many ways talking with her was so much easier.

Windsparrow, I'm very pleased for you.

and I'm glad windsparrow talked to her mom, one more thing that won't be bugging you.

Not javachik

timelies. Congrats to vw's mom and WOW, amych! Great news! And OUCH, bethb. Your poor, poor BIL has had much more than his share of broken body parts.

Did everyone already get their tiaras? I'm waiting for my tiara-ee to post more links of shinies she likes. Meanwhile:

Not my style, but fun for someone or someone’s child: [link]

Huh. Tiara toe rings. There are a bunch of them: [link]

This is cool. Hmm, it’s pewter, too. I guess we could get pins instead of the head things, hmm? I thought of just getting this for myself, but I have many, many pins that I never wear. OTOH, it would look cool in winter on the lapel of a black coat or jacket.

Here's another: [link]

Thrive to spite them

Windy, I'm glad things went well with your mom.

Thrive to spite them

My feet hurt. It's way past my bed time.

My hair is even more spiky due to sweat (I got a compliment on it ---"it's very becoming on you").

I had a blast. Okay, first, it was awkward, no one was there except the really serious dancers, and I should have sat someplace else and introduced myself more but whatevah.

Sucked at my first dance, I don't knwo what the hell it was. Then I cha cha'd (I know the guy, he's not a terrific lead) Dad got there and I hustled. I love the hustle. I used to get teased becasue I'd dance every single one. But it paid off.

I didn't miss a beat. It was like I last danced 2 mths ago instead of two years or whatever it's been.

My legs ache, my feet are killing me. I've got to take a shower and go to bed.
