I am home from the work event. All went well. It was nice to be able to chat with people and get to know them outside of work a bit. There was an after party that I was invited to, but I decided not to go, because I was fading quickly. Probably a good idea since I got lost and panicky on the way home.

I'm detecting a theme. A theme of beer.

wOOt. I got hold of my mom, finally. She now knows I am going to be living in sin with Daniel. And now that I am mentally letting go of her, in so many ways talking with her was so much easier.

Windsparrow, I'm very pleased for you.

you are all talking about too much food. don't you all know I left work 'cause my stomach was all icky. but that does mean you can have all my m&ms, pizza, beer and other food. I'll keep to the crackers.

Windy, I'm glad things went well with your mom.

My feet hurt. It's way past my bed time.

My hair is even more spiky due to sweat (I got a compliment on it ---"it's very becoming on you").

I had a blast. Okay, first, it was awkward, no one was there except the really serious dancers, and I should have sat someplace else and introduced myself more but whatevah.

Sucked at my first dance, I don't knwo what the hell it was. Then I cha cha'd (I know the guy, he's not a terrific lead) Dad got there and I hustled. I love the hustle. I used to get teased becasue I'd dance every single one. But it paid off.

I didn't miss a beat. It was like I last danced 2 mths ago instead of two years or whatever it's been.

My legs ache, my feet are killing me. I've got to take a shower and go to bed.
