Just in case you haven't guessed, I'm stressed out and overwhelmed by the e-fucking-normous task of sorting my crap for A) the moving sale on Friday, and 2) the actual moving part of this project.

Yesterday, my boss called me to ask if I was really moving, as she had heard a rumor I was going to one of the other local agencies as a supervisor. I said, "Unless they run group homes in Faribault, MN, I won't be working for them. By the way, would you like to come to my moving sale?" It is surprising how much talk there is about my leaving, seeing as bosslady forbad me to discuss it at the group home until it was time to say goodbye. People are always coming up to me and saying "So this is your last week, huh?" "Uh, no, that's next week..."

Also, I know there's a whole bunch of other stuff going on in other Bitches lives that I'm just too scattered to comment on... Happy whatever to whomever; I'm sure there's plenty of ~ma floating around here, which will be sent flying around the globe as I work.

Roomate just said she's moving out Aug. 1 instead of Aug. 15. I know it shouldn't be a big deal, but that's only 5 days after I get back from Europe and I can't be out by then. Which means I have to come up with the whole rent by myself. She's been really nice and said I can give her the second half of the rent a week late when I get my next check. But it looks like a bill or two may go unpaid and I'll be living alone in an empty apartment in a month. Fuck fuck fuck.

Timelies, Bitches! I am home today doing laundry and packing for our trip. That's what I told my hubby, anyway. I'm also getting a facial and pedicure later, and the pampering is really why I took the extra day off.
