Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

'Touched'

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They didn't hire you to read! Stop that immediately, before they put it into your file!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Having actually seen the signs in question, I can't help but laugh.

Plus mock.

The mocking is key.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Aimee has shown sign of understanding and comprehending the English language. Must do what we can to asuage this education. This will also aid us in keeping her title as Associate.

The thing is, if an actual tenant called and sais the damn thing was wrong, they'd fix em tomorrow.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I grrr for you, Aims.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Dan posted someting in reply to something I posted, and I meant to reply but now I can't remember what he said.

Was it this?

My only "homework" for the next time I see her is figuring out if I can take classes next semseter and which class it will be. I'm only taking one. If I can take the one hour class that will be perfect (it's united States Constitution).

My reply:

In Florida? Does Jeb know about this? If you see a lot of things whited-out in the textbook, I'd guess he does.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Just heard back from my prof. She says to take it easy and not bother coming to class. So, I'm going to do that. I just...I hate this. Gonna have to talk to my boss about it tomorrow so I know what to do if a situation like this comes up again.

Dude! Nervous about vw missing school things and what not. I mean, I doubt they are manipulatively taking advantage, but... they won't look out for you and your priorities, when not doing so benefits them. Don't do more than they are paying you to do... you've got so much on your plate vee-dub!

I don't know if that came out right, becasue I am EXHAUSTED.

We have a house.

And a new washer and dryer.

And a push lawnmower. And a weed whacker.

And an extension cord for the weed whacker.

The sellers' couch is still in the living room and we are going to let them and their guy try to get it out on Thursday. That created a bit of a last minute stir, but we put about $1500 in escrow -also because they were not moved out in time for the walk through and doors were off hinges, windows removed, etc. at that point, so we couldn't really check for the move in condition.

But everything was signed and all that and I didn't feel like smacking them. Much. When their asshole realtor breezed in, I kinda wanted to smack her though. But, points for personal growth, I did not.

Our realtor took us out for lunch and rattled off a zillion places to go in and around Salem, and I wish I could have written them all down. Then we went to Best Buy and bought a washer and dryer. Then we went to Home Depot and bought a push mower and weed whacker type thing and investigated how to get our gas grill next week.

So, yeah. Spent a lot of money today. Lots of it we didn't even have.

Mostly lurking...

YAY NORA! (edit: AND TOM!)

And don't worry about me. I like being at a place that I care about so much. But, yeah, I have to be careful with balancing the priorities. I'm still working that part out.

Because books.

Whoo-hoo for homeowning, Nora and Tom! That's awesome.
