I've combed talcum powder into my greasy hair many a time. Works pretty well.

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I've stopped shampooing my head, and it's working out pretty well, not that my hair extrapolates that well around here. My no-cone was made simple by buying conditioner at Lush.
I've stopped shampooing my headI follow you happily in regards to bruising and migraines, ita. But hair? That is where we stop being utter twins... I can't pull off the blonde.
Reminds me, couple day old muscle aches, will icing help? I hate icing but I do bow before it at times...
eta: Thon? My fingers are seriously stoned and they aren't sharing.
My hair is so much better than my bruising or migraines, though!
Cass, when they're old, I do hot soaks (with Epsom salts if you have them), stretching, and then ice.
Well, yeah if it were optional like on a menu I would have taken the hair. Instead I got some dumb prix fixe thing that didn't let me choose any of the cool stuff. Well cute young waiter oogling. I got that. But it's not quite kicking people in the head...
I have ice now on my back.
There are a couple of wicked bruises on my inner thighs from "pausing" before I got thrown from the horse but they only hurt when I poke them. Or stand up. I still think I can ignore them and let them heal on their own.

Veganese works well for that. When my hair was shorter, I swore by it. As much as no-cones would be nice, I've broken down and accepted that I can't comb through my hair without them once it's past my shoulders, so after two years of no-cones, I'm back on the smack.
It's a sickness.
I swear by Ouidad's [link] stuff for curly hair, especially Botanical Boost and Tress F/X. It's wonderful. Can't live without it. Their products are more expensive than drugstore stuff, but about the same as Bumble & Bumble. And so totally worth it. I usually use the Curl Quencher line because my hair is so dry and frizzy, but PlayCurl is nice too.
And I also agree with not washing your hair every day, even for curly hair.
Any recommendations for eyeshadow colors for me, peeps? I've been wearing red-brown for a couple years and I'm bored bored bored. Also, I normally wear black liquid liner, but looking at photos it looks too hard and heavy.
And while I've got better than 20/20 vision (yay Lasik), I wouldn't mind a really kickin' pair of glasses, so if Hec or anyone else with awesome glasses links is around...
In other words, I need the Bitch Makeover!

Olive green with a gold shimmer. Muted plum. Gold. Pale warm browns.
If I wear liner, it's usually a dark copper brown or a dark olive green. Yes, I own a lot of Urban Decay.
I like the Urban Decay stuff I have, so I'll try their shadow. They're connected to Hard Candy somehow, I take it? As I love Hard Candy shadows.
Sweet! They ship to APO addresses, which Sephora does not. Although my husband likes the dice bags that Sephora sends, so he'll be bummed.
I don't think they're connected to Hard Candy at all.
The UD shadows are really nice. Sin, X, and Snow would probably look nice on you, and you'd most likely be able to pull of Acid Rain, but I accept that people not me tend to avoid the lime greens.
