Zoe: I thought you wanted to spend more time off-ship this visit. Wash: Out there is seems like it's all fancy parties. I like our party better. The dress code is easier and I know all the steps.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

It looks like I'm getting new glasses. vision works has a 2 pars for $99, and for $20 more they'll tint one for sunglasses.

I can still wear my current ones, but it will be nice to see with out the spots. So I'm trying to figure out frames. I kind of want to do something different like slightly colored frames, but I'm worried that they'll end up looking bad with all my clothes.

Also I need a new hairstyle. Still short, but something different. So if anyone has any suggestions about something different I'd appreciate it.

askye, sounds like you need to get Hec in on the double. Not only is he the short-hair Guru, but he has Mad Skillz picking out glasses. meara told me he picked hers and they're fabulous.

will i be kicked out of bitches if i admit to not having a tiara? it really does sound like a fun idea though. my co-workers would mock, but it would just give them something to do besides gossip.

No expulsions around here, but are you in on the current tiara exchange to get yourself one? Even if not, go look around on ebay - my first 2 "real" tiaras were purchased by moi.

They were fabulous. Until they broke. Sniff. I still miss them, as my current glasses are annoying me. Boooooo!!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I'd offer to have a straight off with you. For the hair, I mean. *g*

BWAH!

Now tagless for your comfort.

As much as I love cool glasses, I'm glad I had Lasik.

Not everyone has one. But I do. And I'd love to see your co-workers expression if you walked in with one on.

My hair is more straight than wavy, but what ticks me off is that the hair underneath is much more straight than what is on top, so if the person who is cutting my hair doesn't pay attention, I end up with the straight pieces showing where they shouldn't.

Meanwhile, who said tiara? I'm finding myself gravitating towards flowers today, and a $1 is such a bargain!

Seriously! Stop at the mall on your way home. All the girly accessory stores (Claire's, The Icing, etc.) usually have cute ones that'd be okay for a starter tiara. Or the party supply stores usually have the sequin variety. Have some fun!

i'm not, but that reminds me of a certain tiara making the rounds at PBP 2003. i think almost everyone had that thing on their head at some point in time. good times.

Even if not, go look around on ebay - my first 2 "real" tiaras were purchased by moi.

I may just do that.

me too. *snerk*

this is so my hair. it's almost stick straight underneath. weirdest hair ever = mine. it wasn't even curly until i got a perm lo those many years ago when i was in fourth grade. i've been cursed with the curls ever since.

Sparky is me, except flower gravity is most every day with me.

I like this one too, though. More "viney" than flowery.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Jesus motherfucking Christ.

Sunil,

What is the best number to reach you at? I would like to talk with you about an opportunity that I am working on.

Chris

And this was a fucking medical science liaison position, the big guns, not even the gajillion medical writing ones.

I should bitch to my LiveJournal more often.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I have the hella curly hair with the 'only mildly wavy' layer underneath, too. I've been using Tigi's Catwalk 'Curls Rock' products. The good thing, is they work well. The bad thing is it's a line of five different products. But, if your hair wasn't as crazy frizzy/curly as mine, you may be able to skip the leave in conditioner.

ETA: Way to be, Sunil!
