Busy packing and stuff here. I planned on doing chores much of the day until DH's aunt called and said that a bunch of them were headed our way to go tubing and such on the lake. So my kids and their cousins played, and skied, and swam. The adults watched the car race, and ate, and talked. It was a very pleasant surprise visit.
We are headed out Tuesday morning for about 2-1/2 weeks. Driving to New York. We arrive Thursday, then Friday Brendon has to fly home for business, then he flies back to NY Monday. The kids will be in Syracuse for basketball camp part of the time. Visits in Staten Island with SIL and family then up to the Adirondacks for a couple weeks with my family.
I really should be doing laundry and packing. Make me get back to work.

Really concerned that we haven't heard that the home owners haven't done the repairs they agreed to, and the closing in Tuesday. Really annoyed that our realtor hasn't been able to find this shit out for the last couple weeks. Jesus Fuck.
Really wondering if we can walk away from this deal. I'm tired of these goddamn sellers and their bullshit and am annoyed I have to give them money and take it up the ass from them.
You should be able to demand a walk through immediately prior to closing to establish that all the promised work has been done. It should be very clear that you are ready willing and able to close as scheduled, IF they have completed the repairs. If they haven't done the repairs you can agree upon an amount to deduct from the purchase price to do the repairs yourself.

One of the repairs I don't know if I could spot being finished. Are we permitted to ask for documentation (a plumber's invoice, for example) proving the work has been done?
Will we need to reschedule the closing until we can get estimates for the work?
See this is shit I WISH MY FUCKING REALTOR, making 8 grand or so off this, would tell us.
