[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

In other news, I hate the people we are buying our house from. I am dreading the closing because I will have to sit there with these jerk-offs and not slap them silly.

Maybe after all the i's are dotted and the t's crossed you could "accidentally" kick 'em under the table? Or is this not an impulse that you need encouraged?

Best of luck with job and house.

askye, sounds like an excellent plan. I just went back to swing dancing last weekend after several months off (various and sundry reasons) and it was SO GREAT. So I definitely vote for get back out there and boogie, or foxtrot, whatev.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

So, anyway, people at Pixies concerts, apparantly, don't dance. Just us dorks (me and my friend M). I danced my wise ass off.

Peeps danced at the LA shows! I mostly just swished my head/hair around and sang along.

askye, I'm drawing a blank about where you are located, but if you're near a college/university there might be a club that hosts dance nights. we have all sorts of flyers up here for $1 or $5 nights, depending on the venue.

Remember that the closing is the last place you'll have to see the jerky sellers, Nora, so, while you probably can't slap them, after the papers are signed you could tell them off.

Thrive to spite them

Hustle. I love to hustle. But I also want to rumba. And cha cha. And I want to learn zyedco (some place does that), and there's a place that has lessons for salsa, merenege (which is dead easy and you don't have to have rhythm at all to do it) and bachata -- which I've seen a few people do and want to learn.

I'd love to tango, but it's not something that's played often -- you need room for it. Also, you need to find someone as good or better, especially if you are following.

I know there's somedthing going on Saturday and I'll be there.

Sparky -- my dad is actually the faculity advisor for the ballroom dance club at the university. (I get my dancing bug from him).

But I dont' think they have anything going on during the summer sessions.

Some where there's a vdieo tape of my dance recital (and if there isn't I need to get a copy).

I never did send it to any one to get transfered to digital format. I need to add that to my list.

Okay, I'm going to stop spamming Bitches now. I promise.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy Birthday, askye!

Merenege sounds right up my alley, what with the easy and no rhythm required aspects.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Merengue (no spelling I've tried looks right, I know it's different from the stuff on top pie, but I can't remember how to spell that, either) is the one that was invented in honor of the guy with the bum leg, right?

Hee. Hello Kitty tiara

(edited to have what I wanted to say actually on the screen and not just in my head)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why does she have flippy hair?!??!

That's not right.
