[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Hippo Birdies, Stephanie!

Go, Kaite Bee! That sounds like an interesting job (and place to work.)

vw, all the well-dressed women are wearing their tiaras to bling bling day. At least, it's what I'd do.

Aww, poor Em, much get-over-it~ma so your mum quits worrying.

The status is NOT quo.

Ow.

I managed to slice the top of one of my fingers very deeply this morning on the sharp inside edge of the metal cabinet in the English office. I went down to the nurse and got it checked out, cleaned, and bandaged. The good news is that I don't need a stich, but the bad news is that I lost enough blood to be woozy and lightheaded the rest of the day. Oooo, dizzy. The room is all spinny! Also, since it was a "work-related injury", I had to file an accident report with the Dean. Just what the faintheaded girl needs...paperwork. Rolling. Eyes. Forever.

For once, I can honestly say that this was not a result of me being a clutz or being oblivious. That cabinet is really not the safest piece of office furniture around, evidently.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Eep, Kristin, get yourself hydrated and maybe eat something, stat.

brillig

So is there a pool of blood in the file cabinent now?

This shouldn't sound so nifty to me.

Up with the sun

Ouch, Kristin. Is it the hand you write with?

vw, go tiara, choose tiara.

And happy birthday to Stephanie!

The status is NOT quo.

Luckily, it is not my writing hand.

Connie is scaring me a little. Has anyone seen her standing in full sun? Just wondering...

Mostly lurking...

Poor Kristin!

Since everyone seems to think that a tiara is a good choice, it's the way I'm gonna go!

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Happy Birthday Steph!

Congrats on the job, Katerina Bee!!

I hope Em feels better soon!

vw, I think you should go with something like an entire alarm clock around your neck. You'd totally outshine anyone with a big watch.

So, sorry to say 'fuck' and run last night. I had to go tweak out on my own for a bit. I do want to move to Somerville. I just can't afford to do it right now. Way I see it is, I can find a med student roomate for the school year, be here until next summer, then hopefully have scraped up enough to move.

Or.

I can move back in with my parents for about 6 months, and save a ton of money. My mom has already said she'd be glad to have me. Then, leave for Boston in the early spring. I can't decide if this is the smarter option, or if I'd feel like a big failure. I hate this. I am all kinds of depressed when I should be happy for Sam, and I don't know what the right decision is.

Sparky! I would love to grab breakfast! Let me check my work schedule and I will get back to you?

ETA: Kristin! Ow!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Happy Birthday, Stephanie!

Yay, Katie B!

I hope Emma feels better soon.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

You can never go wrong with a tiara.

Katie Bee, I hope it turns out to be a great job for you.

Happy birthday, Stephanie!
