Connie is scaring me a little. Has anyone seen her standing in full sun? Just wondering...
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Luckily, it is not my writing hand.

Poor Kristin!
Since everyone seems to think that a tiara is a good choice, it's the way I'm gonna go!
Happy Birthday Steph!
Congrats on the job, Katerina Bee!!
I hope Em feels better soon!
vw, I think you should go with something like an entire alarm clock around your neck. You'd totally outshine anyone with a big watch.
So, sorry to say 'fuck' and run last night. I had to go tweak out on my own for a bit. I do want to move to Somerville. I just can't afford to do it right now. Way I see it is, I can find a med student roomate for the school year, be here until next summer, then hopefully have scraped up enough to move.
Or.
I can move back in with my parents for about 6 months, and save a ton of money. My mom has already said she'd be glad to have me. Then, leave for Boston in the early spring. I can't decide if this is the smarter option, or if I'd feel like a big failure. I hate this. I am all kinds of depressed when I should be happy for Sam, and I don't know what the right decision is.

Sparky! I would love to grab breakfast! Let me check my work schedule and I will get back to you?
ETA: Kristin! Ow!
Happy Birthday, Stephanie!
Yay, Katie B!
I hope Emma feels better soon.
You can never go wrong with a tiara.
Katie Bee, I hope it turns out to be a great job for you.
Happy birthday, Stephanie!
Yay, tiara!
LIlty, I've had to move in with my parents twice since graduating college. The first time was a planned move to save money for grad school (first attempt). The second time, it was an emergency measure because I couldn't afford to live on my own (after grad school part deux). Because both times actually were temporary and had clearly defined parameter for ending (either a date or an amount of money saved up), I didn't feel too bad about them It does allow for some serious savings, and it's nice to interact with yor parents as an adult, if they can see you as one.
That "hopefully have scraped up enough to move" makes the other option sound not so appealing. I'd hate to see you struggling for longer than you have to to be where you want to be.

I avoid the sun whenever I can, it does nasty things to my skin. I've even got a doctor's note!
Thank you, -t. That makes me feel a little better. I can say I can go stay in the apartment and keep saving enough for a move, but I'd likely do the same bang-up job I've been doing at that. (I.E. actually getting more in debt.)
Also, I'm probably over-emotional over the whole thing, because I just don't want Sam to go away. She's the only friend I've got left I still see lots of. So, I think that I'm looking at a pretty lonely six months.
At least I get a great summer before it all goes kerplooey.

Yippee! Just let me know. We've got to get to Boothbay that afternoon to start the wedding festivities, but we'll be flexible.
If I'm opening the store I will see if someone will switch with me so's I can close. (Most people like making that trade, especially on the weekend.)
