Awww...poor Aims. This is a first, huh?
Today is "Bling Bling Day" at school (it's Wacky Wednesday). I have no idea what "Bling Bling Day" is supposed to mean. Help me out hivemind!
'Life of the Party'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Happy Birthday, Stephanie!!!
Oh Aimee, I hope Em gets well, soon.
I called AAA a little while ago, to come tow my dead car to our local shop. They called me back to tell me which Tow Company to expect. Here's how the caller ID read:
A, AA--
I don't know why, but this cracks me up.
Oh, Aims! I'm sorry that for both poor little Em and for you.
Timelies, all. It's my last day of regular classes here ever. Weird. Still have to give exams and then next Thursday's the last day of school, a half day...but essentially, this is it.
VW: "bling bling" is slang for expensive material objects like flashy jewelry, cars, etc. It tends to be associated with gangsta rap, so you may see giant watches or BMW emblems around their necks, etc.
vw, is it wear lots of sparkly jewels day? You could stow a tiara in your book bag, just in case.
edit, because I used your real name. Yikes.

Yeah. I'm trying not to be Worst Case Freak Out Mom. And I keep telling her, "If the doctor says you're ok, it's school for you, missy!"
Awww, Empress! She's fine, I'm sure. Poor little sicky girl and poor worried Mom, though...!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPHANIE!
I don't know why, but this cracks me up.
That's pretty funny!

Eek!

Yup...looks like that's it. Had to look it up on Wikipedia. And don't worry about using my real name. I do it all the time. I've quit caring.
And I keep telling her, "If the doctor says you're ok, it's school for you, missy!"
Bwah!
Happy Birthday, Stephanie!
Yay for Katerina Bee's job offers!
Aimee, I'm sure Emma will be fine, but that must be scary.
vw -- it looks like you've already gotten good advice on the bling bling, so I'm just going to ask whether the staff needs to dress up every Wednesday, because that seems like it would get tiresome pretty fast.

It's voluntary. But, I try to be a "team player," and Wednesdays are my days that I supervise the kids during staff meeting. So, I like to participate. I feel like it's a little way I can support the kids. I may be sitting this one out, though. I'm not sure I have anything, besides my grandmother's costume jewelry, that would work. And, I'm too broke this week to go buy something. Plus, my boss has noticed that I've participated in each one and has let me know how much she appreciates it... I don't like to let people down.
