Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I'm 48 and peeps used to say that to me all the time. Hasn't happened yet.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Does anyone have a recipe for a salad dressing that doesn't use vinegar or wine? Maybe something with orange juice for the acid?

I'm all proud of myself. I just filled out some social security paperwork that I've been avoiding for months. Go me!

sj, I have a couple at home, but none on me or memorized. I'm sorry!

I don't need them til next week. I am actually planning ahead. Could you e-mail them to me tonight when you get home.

Go you on the SS paperwork! I know how much it sucks.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Another person has downloaded my résumé. From a consulting firm. Huh.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Yesterday we had a going away party for a girl who's a total sweetheart and her attitude towards life kinda reminds me of Kaylee. Going to my car I was talking with other co workers and they said she'd change once she got older and life started wearing her down/bad things happened.

Granted, I was never remotely Kaylee-like, but I'm happier and more optimistic as a 30-something than I ever was as a 20-something.

Hey. New board.

Good Morning, Bitches.

I'm in New York.

My room is bigger than I expected it would be (bigger than the smallest dorm singles at Caltech) so that's good.

I didn't sleep very well on the plane, so that's not. And no time for a nap, as orientation in an hour. I'm okay, though.

My only responses to what I've skimmed: JZ has pretty hair, P-C makes my heart break for his conflict but smile for his résumé love, and Lilty needs to stop chickening out with Music Store Guy.
