Why are you going to be in Delaware next weekend?
My cousins live there. My aunt and uncle are up babysitting the kids so my cousin and her DH could go on a vacation (they've got four kids...an alone break is nice, I'm sure!). So, my a&u invited my mom and dad down to visit. Amtrak was running a deal where if you buy 2 tickets, the third was 10% (not 10% off, 10% of the full price), so mom and dad asked if I wanted to come with. I thought it might be a nice break...ran it past my boss, who was totally cool with it. So, I'm taking a long weekend. I'm really looking forward to it after working almost three weeks straight without a break.

I'm glad you're doing this with the kids. It's really wonderful. Let me know how the meeting goes today. I'm sure it will be interesting. And, if you want to do it through e-mail, that's fine.
As a side note, my brothers and I all accepted Jesus in our hearts when we were around 4, so I think it can be understood at that time...you just have to be careful that it's not pushed, which it sounds like you totally have been doing. And, it's different for each kid...which, you know.

Unfortunately, no. It means I had to go drag Teacup Guy out of bed so he could go to work. The poor guy is back to working 7 days a week. He needs some job~ma so he can get a good paying job and quit working the weekends in Retail Hell.
sj, I'm sorry you couldn't sleep, either. Yay for finally seeing James! Is he getting nice and plump? Does he have to have a lot of follow up check ups, because of his surgery?
He's HUGE! He weighs 17 pounds now. So cute and chubby. He has a lot of follow ups with doctors and is to avoid sick people for another year.

I was also four, and it was something I sought, because I understood it. But yeah, I wanted to both "suffer the little children" and not push them.

My migraine hangovers are kinda like pre-migraine, where I can be tipped right over into the actual headache.

He will be six months old on the 18th. You would never know there are health issues to look at him. He looks absolutely perfect.
Teacup Guy was also able to meet the nephews last night, which is something I really wanted. Too bad David decided to be shy, so I couldn't show off how brilliant he is.

My brother gets those. ENT suspects that his pain tolerance is so high that he can't feel them. He gets dizzy, though, and his pupils about pop out of his head. It's wild.
I'm at work. No one left me work to do, so I'll be filling out social security paperwork and writing my paper that is due on Tuesday. Fun, fun!

That's interesting. I would the occular migraines, and then have a tolerable (iow non-migraine) headache, after they went away. Come to think of it, I would have a little hung over feeling during that.

Nope. I get the migraine whether or not I have the tea. I've just recently realised that this is a symptom that comes before the hyper-tasting and the hyper-smelling (I also used to think that it would be a big smell that'd set me off, but honestly, by that point, I'm a migraine desperately in search of a smell -- it can be just a normal smell, but I'm so sensitive that it throws me right over into headache).
My MRI was Thursday. I haven't heard anything back from the ENT, not even the neuro appt they were supposed to make. I'm not loving him right now.
I'm so sorry about the migraines, ita. I hope your doctor can find something that will help.
I hate the waiting for all things medical. I wouldn't be happy about that, either. I don't like to bug doctors' offices, because I know just how busy they are. But if they tell me they're going to do something, I expect them to do it.
