What? I'm not allowed to hit people? Wesley: Not people capable of genocide. Angel: Those are exactly the types of people I should be allowed to hit!

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I love the Gimme the Camera picture. Girl's got some cheekbones!

They remove the existing polish (I went in bare for my one and only and the esthetician or whatever they are called was startled) and they made me keep sitting in the pedi chair until the polish was dry. there was some sort of iol that was slapped on that may have accelerated the drying or protected the polish or something.

Yay Aimee loan!

I still get made fun of for saying a dinosaur was carniVORous when I was 8 or so. How was I to know?

Nora, deep breaths. Pick the easiest/quickest thing and do it first.

She cried when DH put the camera away. I fear that she'll seek a career in modeling or politics.

PIck one small thing to do, Nora, and don't think abotu the rest.

If there's anything it would be practical for me to do for you, I'm available. My boss is on vacation, so, nothing much for me to do.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

they remove your existing nailpolish? Or do you go in bare? Also, how do you make it home without messing up the toes? Do they have a magic drying machine?

Yes. Sometimes. Flipflops. Yes.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I feel especially cute today in a little houndstooth pencil skirt and a pink shirt and my big moonstone necklace.

That does sound fetching. Do you have your hair up but loose like you did in LA?

Awww, Nora, sometimes it's best to nibble around the edges of an overwhelming pile of responsibilities by getting rid of the smaller easier tasks and then checking them off. It gives you a sense of control and progress. And it does lessen the overall work pile.

My advice? Nibble. Make a phone call. Fill out one form. Xerox something, and check it off your list.

Nora, I'm so sorry. My suggestions were all going to be along those lines -- make a small easy piece and get it done -- so I have nothing new. But I am sorry.

I don't suppose I could buy you a drink this evening or anything?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Oh, and DH's new camera came yesterday. Which means new Annabel pics:

Heh. Is that a keyboard in the Pack & Play for her?

We have the same Pack & Play, too.

Yes. Sometimes. Flipflops. Yes.

Damn, I want a pedicure.

Poor, Nora. Too much to do is too much to do. Accept it, make a list, prioritize, and start checking things up. Do not beat yourself up for not enough time. You can't change the time-space continuum.

Libkitty, I'm so sorry you didn't get tickets! I know how carefully you were watching, waiting and hoping for them.

Heh. Is that a keyboard in the Pack & Play for her?

Yep. We had a spare leftover from our old computer, so we gave it to her.

She doesn't like it as much as she did at first. She'd much rather try to take over ours.
