Fay, loads of ~ma to you.
Not as good as *fresh* clotted cream served in tea shops in little British villages, but still very tasty.
Takes notes under "Things to eat" category.
I was happy to hear my not-spontaneous, afraid to fly mother say that going was a good idea, but when I went to see her today, I was surprised as to how intensely she wants me to go. Not even in a "Yay, you'll have so much fun!" way. She said to me, very seriously, "You NEED to do it because God knows when you'd have another chance like this- you need to grab hold." Then she handed me a check for a hundred dollars to go get my passport with. I almost started to cry.
Heather, that sucks, but good on you for having a plan.
Hello, Ellie! Glad you could make it.
~ma, Fay. Be good to yourself.
ION Daniel just informed me that there is, indeed, a name for the cursor when it does that pointing hand thing. "Grab hand". There is something deliciously, rightfully, porny about that, especially as I am now so tired that I just hallucinated mine flipping me the bird.
Heather, that's awful. I'm sorry.
~ma, Heather. Best wishes for getting your immediate circs. to fall into line with your plans.
Oh, shit, Heather. I'm sorry. Life ~ma on its way.
Oh that sucks, Heather but I am glad to hear that you have a plan already and sound like you are looking forward.
I want clotted cream now. I also want Mexican food. I have neither. I suppose that I am okay with that since I could go get food but am too comfy in my yoga pants and a hoodie. I want taquitos less than I want to put on a bra. It's a choice I find myself facing on a frighteningly frequent basis.
Loads of life and work~ma headed your way Heather.
Lilty, I am so excited for you, and I'm so glad your mom understands. I'm partial to Italy, but the entire trip will be wonderful. This sounds like exactly what you need to get your mind off of things.
Thanks. Kinda done with the boss anyway. Prolly not just chance that I'd have gotten a raise next week. Really excited about the plan, which now that I'm not working I can talk about.
I love politics. LOVE IT! Most places tell you to shut up about them, but it's the only thing I'm passionate about. So I'm working on a campaign and doing community service (not the scary kind).
