Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Stephanie! Contractions! Good luck, honey, and if Joe misses the birth he will get LOTS of baby bonding time once he gets home, so that's a silver lining.
A job you can crochet at is a good job.
Thanks for the major appliance congrats, Bitches, I'm very pleased. I'm tempted to take Tuesday off, or come home early, so I can get the excitement of running that first load. And I'll look into that energy rebate thing, Robin, thanks! We got a floor model for the dryer, so we've already saved quite a bit.
We are observing our anniversary today, so I made us breakfast in bed including Bloody Marys. Consequently, I may be making a bit less sense than usual.
(edited because the deadness from the cuteness made me forget to say how adorable the Lily-Shiva pictures are. They're all yin-yangy, it's too sweet)
eee! Stephanie! All -ma to you. Marathon, you can do it. You have my number, right?
We gave Eve a haircut: [link]
Also, her quilt is finally in use. Yes, I've been working on it for 2 1/2 years. No, it isn't done.
flea, the quilt is beautiful, as is Eve. Such a darling with her new hair cut!
Yay for major appliances! Enjoy your anniversary doing something other than laundry. Actually, I've heard that major appliances should be christened properly to insure a long life. You could combine that with the anniversary celebration.
Stephanie! Smooth labor~ma to you. Does your phone call person have a Buffista on the list so we can make an annoucement? (I'll e you my cell number if you want me to do the honors) Silly delivery rooms rarely have internet access.
edit to note that you may have flea's number, cool.
Also, Cute pictures!!!
Easy birth and healthy baby~ma to you, Stephanie!
Congrats on the new appliances, t!
Eve is such a beautiful little girl, and that's a lovely quilt.
Go you with the two jobs, vw. I hope you enjoy the work.
Today Kara and I are going to clean house. I have no idea how much I'll get done. It rather depends on how hard it is to keep her moving in the right direction and keep Aidan from destroying things behind us. She tried to clean the bathroom while I was cooking dinner last night. Greg said the bathroom was flooded and the hand towel was in the toilet. Oy.
Oy is right, Deena! Holy cow! Hope you get lots done today, though.
I am sending 200 faxes right now. At least I have something to do, but BORING.
Stephanie! That sounds suspiciously like labor to me. All the birth~ma in the world. I wish Joe was going to make it, but at least your mom's with you. Huge hugs!
I'm tempted to take Tuesday off, or come home early, so I can get the excitement of running that first load.
Isn't it funny? Years and years ago I would have scoffed at anyone who told me new appliances would make me deliriously happy. Not so much now. Congratulations, and happy anniversary-celebration-day!
She tried to clean the bathroom while I was cooking dinner last night. Greg said the bathroom was flooded and the hand towel was in the toilet.
Oh dear. Well, she had good intentions.
I need some entertaining.
Stephanie, baby~~~~~~~~~~~ma!
Congrats on the washer and dryer -t! I so love mine... And the anniversary observation too!
Lily and Shiva are killing me with the cute. It's hard to photograph the black kitties...
And Casper's haircut!
Babies are so cute. And then they grow up and get more cute.

It's Saturday, I could have slept in as long as I wanted. I woke up at 5. For work, I don't have to get up until 6:45... I sense a nap in my future. Although I am giving up on that idea happening too soon and am possibly going to make coffee finally.
It rained last night and is still all damp and misty outside. I think coffee, kitties and a book are in order.
I am supposed to be cleaning but I have no motivation whatsoever. Maybe Kara can come here and help me shave the puppycat. She's shedding madly.
Continued calmness to you and easy arrival-ma to Peaberry, Stephanie. I know you and I hardly ever seem to post at the same time and haven't talked much, but I've been keeping you in my thoughts. I can't even imagine how hard it's been for you to go through a first pregnancy with your partner on the other side of the world, and you've shown such humor and grace the whole time. Safe and easy labor-ma to you, and swift and safe return-ma to your Joe, and I'm so glad your mom is with you!
