Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Stephanie! That sounds suspiciously like labor to me. All the birth~ma in the world. I wish Joe was going to make it, but at least your mom's with you. Huge hugs!
I'm tempted to take Tuesday off, or come home early, so I can get the excitement of running that first load.
Isn't it funny? Years and years ago I would have scoffed at anyone who told me new appliances would make me deliriously happy. Not so much now. Congratulations, and happy anniversary-celebration-day!
She tried to clean the bathroom while I was cooking dinner last night. Greg said the bathroom was flooded and the hand towel was in the toilet.
Oh dear. Well, she had good intentions.
I need some entertaining.
Stephanie, baby~~~~~~~~~~~ma!
Congrats on the washer and dryer -t! I so love mine... And the anniversary observation too!
Lily and Shiva are killing me with the cute. It's hard to photograph the black kitties...
And Casper's haircut!
Babies are so cute. And then they grow up and get more cute.

It's Saturday, I could have slept in as long as I wanted. I woke up at 5. For work, I don't have to get up until 6:45... I sense a nap in my future. Although I am giving up on that idea happening too soon and am possibly going to make coffee finally.
It rained last night and is still all damp and misty outside. I think coffee, kitties and a book are in order.
I am supposed to be cleaning but I have no motivation whatsoever. Maybe Kara can come here and help me shave the puppycat. She's shedding madly.
Continued calmness to you and easy arrival-ma to Peaberry, Stephanie. I know you and I hardly ever seem to post at the same time and haven't talked much, but I've been keeping you in my thoughts. I can't even imagine how hard it's been for you to go through a first pregnancy with your partner on the other side of the world, and you've shown such humor and grace the whole time. Safe and easy labor-ma to you, and swift and safe return-ma to your Joe, and I'm so glad your mom is with you!
Stephanie, wow! Easy labor~ma!
-t, I'm all happy about your appliances. I wish I even had room for a washer and dryer, sigh.
Too many cute babies! You're making my ovaries ache and I'm too damn old for that!
Now, off to the art museum in Milwaukee for some Degas. Have a happy Saturday, Bitches! vw, I'd take you with me if I could to cure your boredom, but I don't think your boss would like that.
I would love to ship Kara to you, Cass, though I think Aidan might be better at shaving the puppycat. In order to get Kara over her fear of animals, we've been letting her give cat treats to our cat. She's only just now gotten to where she can stay within a foot of the cat while the cat eats the treat.
So, I've picked up all my dirty clothes and gotten most of the toys out of my bedroom. It suddenly seems twice as big as it did. Now I'm taking a break.
Oh then she can feed puppycat (she thinks it is a treat... even though it's only dry... and they are free-fed so there is always food there... I mentioned not the brightest kitty in the litter?) and Aidan can shave.
I think that if I manage to do laundry (and put said laundry away), pick up around the house and vacuum today, I will consider it a win. That will make this place seem a lot cleaner. Especially the vacuuming, which I loathe doing but the cats are shedding crazy amounts of fur.
We have been rebuilding our shed because we had to tear down the old one when we sold the back lot. We are reusing the old materials for the most part. The issue is the rain. It has thunderstormed in a big way every day for the last week or so. I just looked at the forecast and the next 10 days call for thunderstorms every day.
It doesn't rain all day or anything. Typical tropical stuff. A couple inches in an hour. Just enough to totally soak all the boards. I want to be able to seal and paint the thing, but it won't be dry enough for that to happen until next winter. By then the whole thing will be warped.
Brendon is going to put the roof paper and shingles on the roof anyway and I think that should be ok on wet wood. I don't really want to put down the ourdoor carpet before sealing the floor.
What a mess. Does anyone know about this stuff?
Laura, I have absolutely *no* idea. I'm sorry!
Anyone up for playing literati or anything?
Easy labor~ma to Stephanie.
(Y'know, it's kinda weird to have a child, one who's right here next to me, in fact, being cute, and yet to not have the faintest notion what it feels like to go into labor.)
