Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay for good Spawns Day, Deena.

I really should be out socializing with work people in the lunch room since today is free lunch day (all Mondays and Thursdays are), but my face hurts and all of them will talk about work, so I decided to come socialize here instead.

Who's got something good, fun, interesting, or random to tell me?

eta: Yay, Susan!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

That's a relief on both fronts, Susan. Whew!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Whew, Susan, those are good answers.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Susan, great news! It's great when things turn out to be annoyances, rather than catastrophes.

Are you still going to think about looking for a job? Maybe if you find one that's 2-3 days a week, you can build up the kind of financial safety net that would alleviate panic in the event of future car woes/furnace exploding/sudden attack of leprosy.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

That's great news, Susan (compared to the alternatives, at the very least).

Random things...My feet are currently green and fuzzy? I found an apartment complex right by school, which is exciting, though I'd need to get a bike.

Yep, but it's feeling less urgent. I've backed off from "any halfway tolerable job, NOW," to "take my time and either find a place that'll let me work from home or a job that offers the right balance of pay and fit with my lone wolf work habits, preferably part-time and at UW." (Since DH works at UW, I worked there recently enough to count as "familiar with University policies and procedures," and most of my work experience is in academia.)

Close. Neon green fuzzy socks. I've been going shoeless a lot lately, as my left foot has been complaining.

Sounds like a pl;an, Susan.

I don't know if I can get more random than my wrong-headed interpretation of song lyrics upthread.
