Or just far enough? That's hysterical! Pun not intended, but what the hell.
Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
This sort of thing, for tampons, would be much more useful.
Certainly would encourage people to proceed with caution, anyway.

Coincidentally (with 50-100 posts ago), I'm listening to the Mamas and Papas this morning, and I have a question...
In California Dreamin' when he gets down on his knees, does he begin to pray or pretend to pray? I can hear it both ways, and it really changes the intent of line. Anyone know?

It's "began" Epic.

I think it's "pretend." He's just in the church to get out of the cold. I checked a couple of lyrics sites and they all have pretend as well.

I swear I only ever heard began until I was in my twenties. Then I started becoming more aware of how naive I sometimes can be - and I think I started looking for the cynicism in everything.
Oops, did I just bring down the amusement factor? Well, glad to hear that not everything is about bring on the bitterness anyway.
Pretend makes sense. I've always heard (and sung) "began".

See, I'm falling for it again!
I looked on more lyrics sites and they have it both ways. We need a definitive source, like a published song book.
