Well, I don't know about you, but I don't feel up to risking that first stone...
Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
4 times our mortgage with roughly a third of the square footage. Needless to say, we stopped considering London as an option.
Check Melbourne, see what that offers.
Watch, we'll end up with a Drew Carey statue.
I had a dream last night that I was on the run from zombies with the cast of Whose Line Is It Anyway.
Wait, shouldn't someone call him a sinner?
Silly Trudy. That's what his girlfriend's for.
Hee! Thanks lovely Bitches.
It's a little nervous-making, as any major life-change is, but we're both happy and excited.
Mostly I'm glad the soon-to-be-ex roommate took it well, and I'm hoping (and it looks like) it won't screw him too much. Just the regular amount.
Yay, Sean! That's great. Go and sin some more.
askye once again confirms the old saying, "Home is where the high-speed internet is."

I'm loving this image. Wayne Brady would be so great to be on the run from zombies with ('cuz, y'know, great to have around in pretty much any situation). Now picturing him playing Props with random zombie fallen-off body parts...
(proudly) I just knew our Seanie was stellar boyfriend material. You and your lady go on and have a right-nice moving in together, okay?
Sean, how long have you been dating your gf?
We started dating back in about October of last year, and neither of us thought it would turn into a serious thing. We started getting a little more serious in about February or so, and then about April, I started spending 95% of my time here, sleeping over pretty much every night.
We've been talking about the moving in thing for about a month, and realized it was time.
Yay Sean!
Yay askye!
And I am off to watch pool league. I smell all yummy because I finally took time to collect on a gift certificate for a massage I received for Christmas. Mmmm massage. I shouldn't have waited so long, but busy busy all the damn time.
Also, I took a really bold step with my sister today. Over the last year (or 20) she has become unbearable to talk to on the phone because all she does is complain non-stop about everything in her life. It gets really old. I'm not saying that her boss doesn't suck or that the kids aren't impossible, but bitching to everyone in earshot doesn't help those things.
So I got a long email from her. 1st sentence was to thank me for a gift I picked up for her in New Orleans, then 10 paragraphs of moaning. Her job, my brother, my ex-sil, our niece and nephew, her doctor, her computer. It was a written version of her phone conversations.
Gulp. I wrote her back and told her I was forced to don my sisterly concern hat and that it has become apparent that she has sunk into a pit of negativity and she needs to break the habit. I worded it in a concerned gentle way, and this is stuff she knows. Then I linked to a couple nice articles on breaking the negativity habit and finding gratitude.
The rest of the family is as weary of her complaining as I am, but I guess I am the first to attempt intervention. So I guess I need some take~it~in~the~spirit~it~was~intended~ma. Gulp.
