I'm a single undead gal trying to make it in the big city. I have to start somewhere and they're evil here. They don't judge. They've got necro-tempered glass. No burning up. A great medical plan, and who needs dental more than us?

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Teppy quit flipping out and just cover your arms and toes.

Was it your own?

No, it wasn't. Actually, the last circumcision I attended was Emmett's and there was no ceremony whatsoever (or chaps, to be honest). However, the doctor did proclaim the circ was "symmetrical and elegant."

Yay Billytea for having a good time and a good life! (And hey, I get to see him in two weeks!)

The craps table was kind to us (and it helps that DH knows the best odds and payouts

Hee! The unpublicized benefits of being married to an actuary?

I think I have a good chance of finally catching up with meara in an airport.

Heh. Any other month, yes, but June will be my trip around the world! I beat you all! Plus I'll probably have to go to England when I get back. And North Carolina again. And maybe some other places. Job is about to get CRAZY--from when I get back, until it's over (planned for November, but it may run over), no vacation allowed.

But I don't want to make a decision that big in the next few weeks is what I'm saying

Temp agency, Polter Cow. Temp agency.

he didn't want to come off as creepy!stalker!type, and he didn't know how the revelation that he'd already read all of your poetry site would come off

This is probably true. Plus, how many things on the site did he click to, in that time-before-you-mentioned-it? He might've gone there, said "huh, poetry, ok" and not actually like, read it until later.

Maybe they're planning on dancing between the tables?

Maybe they're planning to dance ON the tables!

Steph, bring a cardigan. It might be cold in the synagogue.

What is even happening?

When the ob was going to circumcize Ben, she came by to see him, and me, in my room, first. I said something along the lines of, "Oh, I feel bad. It's so little." She was French, wee, and very funny. She whipped open his diaper as she asked, "Is it?" Then said, "Tch. Oh, no. He's well endowed."

I think I just sat there with my eyes agog, so she went on to explain that sometimes little boys are too small for circumcision when they're new.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Teppy quit flipping out and just cover your arms and toes.

You oppressor!

Oh, wait. I asked to be oppressed.

Carry on.

So, I need, rather desperately, to clean my house. Or at least, organize it--some stuff is just "put away all the clean clothes", and some is "vacuum, dust". But instead I'm thinking of going to bed early. The sleep would be good, since I wont' get much this weekend (Great Big Drag King Show!). But the cleaning, important. Not only do I need to be able to find things, smonster (and i think a friend of hers? Not sure if he's staying with me too...) will be here Saturday. Hmmmm.

meara - May 19, 2005 4:25:04 pm PDT #206 of 10001

Hmm. Though there is some crazy man outside shouting and screaming (like, every ten seconds or so, "AUUUUUUGGGGGH!!"). This might make sleeping unlikely. It's seriously annoying.

Thrive to spite them

I just got the final word from Grandma E -- she's moving Saturday!

Which means I move in next weekend!

Woo!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Yay, moving!

Hey there, JC!

I am SO GLAD I had a girl. None of that pesky to cut or not to cut debate. (But she can't get her ears pierced until she's 12, damn it.)
