Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hello Bitches! I really really would love to read everything that's been said, but you know, not gonna happen.

Um... well shit, I have nothing to comment on since I haven't read anything but the Recent page.

::grumbles::

Ok, I'll go back and read... and by read I mean skim.

Hubby's home, very tired, and easily winded. I am very tired and looking forward to the weekend and to a day of normal work tomorrow.

Hubby was looking at his chart at the hospital--he does that a lot, goes out to the nurses station, leans against the wall and pulls his chart out of the rack. When the nurses look uncertain, he tells them no law says he can't look at his own records--and in the surgical report there's a big section of Chinese. We're wondering if that's where Doc describes the oops, because Hubby didn't find anything in the portion he could read.

I'm not the suing sort, especially since Doc was very upset that it happened. He went himself up to the floor Hubby was supposed to be recuperating on to tell them to send his belongings down to CCU. The recovery nurses were shocked to see a surgeon personally running an errand like that.

Amusing note on the chart: "Patient is well educated, curious, and appears to be fully informed," ie, "he knows things didn't go as planned, he knows what and why, so don't bother trying to quick-step around it."

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Just woke up from sleeping off rest of hangover. Feel much better, but need soup and more sleep.

I have an interview scheduled for Nordie's on Tuesday! Yeah, job! I need to pay June rent, and I have NO CLUE how this will happen.

Oh, and Booty Call Boy (BCB) called at 9, left message. meara was right! I didn't feel like going anywhere right now (and the thought of having a drink? REEETTTCCCHHHHH.) but he's supposed to call tomorrow night.

Planned booty call? Wow, how nuts.

Yep. I'm drinking water right now, and am going to eat something. Some reading in bed, more water, and more sleep should complete the cure.

The idea of a planned booty call is cracking me up. That sounds a little like a date, Erin.

Glad Hubby's home, connie.

Donut , no donut? The eternal question. Well, every Friday, anyway.

Donut.

-t, how long did you live in Martinez? I ask as my DH is from there.

I was there from 1969-76, and my parents moved back in '86. I lived there again myself '96-'98.

I don't know that I've ever run into someone who was from Martinez (besides in Martinez, of course) before. Neat!

Not only that, you guys are the same age - I wonder if you went to school together?

I'm always a little stunned to run into New Mexicans, let alone Roswellites (I guess they are called Roswellians now)...although running into Californians isn't too unusual. Well, actually it is, outside of California.
