The idea of a planned booty call is cracking me up. That sounds a little like a date, Erin.
Glad Hubby's home, connie.
Donut , no donut? The eternal question. Well, every Friday, anyway.
Joyce ,'Never Leave Me'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Donut.
-t, how long did you live in Martinez? I ask as my DH is from there.
I was there from 1969-76, and my parents moved back in '86. I lived there again myself '96-'98.
I don't know that I've ever run into someone who was from Martinez (besides in Martinez, of course) before. Neat!
Not only that, you guys are the same age - I wonder if you went to school together?
I'm always a little stunned to run into New Mexicans, let alone Roswellites (I guess they are called Roswellians now)...although running into Californians isn't too unusual. Well, actually it is, outside of California.
Re: Hate site:
They're loud, stupid and disrespectful and they do not value education. They're women are all full-blooded whores.
I hope that the irony gods come and beat him to death with their mighty irons of vengeance. I didn't read on to the 'How to' section, mind, but nevertheless...
(And, yes, I do realise that this is ironic of me, to be all 'keeeell the motherfucking peddlars of hatred and violence'. So?)
Hey, meara! Whooohoo! Excitingly, I have no idea whether I'll have a job by the time you arrive. However, my mate E is arriving on the 6th, so even if I am still working at Evil School, you'll have company for daytime sight-seeing.
...given that you have only 36 hours before you leave, I guess it's too late to ask you to pick up a copy of the Battlestar Galatica miniseries DVD, right?
sigh
Am ass. Should have thought to ask sooner.
If he turns out to be the boy I bribed with a popsicle to be my boyfriend in first grade, I may never stop laughing.
If he went to Alhambra High School, he might know a friend of mine, Lisa (sometimes spelled Lissa) Walsh. I actually met her in college, where we discovered we were going home to the same place for summers and holidays.
Yep, in fact I've actually met Lisa Walsh. Does this mean you went to Harvey Mudd? She was in the DH's class at Alhambra, and apparently her dad was his counselor.
Timelies!
I'm at my parents' housesitting until Tuesday. I hate being out here, so I'm trying to look at it as a "spa" weekend...only with crafts. I have four projects out here that I'm taking turns with: (1) crocheting a lace sleeveless shell, (2) binding Emily's Black and White quilt (which I got a whole side done last night! I was so excited!), (3) finish fixing the purple quilt that Emily ordered that wasn't "quilted," and (4) a brand new quilt.
I'm going to the quilt store today to finish buying the fabric for the new quilt. I'm so excited! I'm figuring out the measurements and what I need right now. Soon I will jump in the shower (as soon as I have clean clothes) and head off to the quilt store. Much fun will be had.
Hi vw! Have fun with the quilting and the knitting... I mean crocheting.
Yup, I'm a Mudder. Lisa was the class behind me. It's almost like we're distantly related.
Ooh, quilting store! I don't quilt, but I love quilting stores - all that fabric arranged by color is just so fun to look at.
