Big stop just to renew your license to companion. Can I use companion as a verb?

Wash ,'Ariel'

Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

My latest Star Trek offering, written for Trek Reverse Bang:

We've got the right to pick a little fight (Bonanza!)

Gen, PG

Summary: Larry just wants to impress a girl. Instead, he saves the world?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Sail,

Interesting, from what I read, but chapter 2 is a duplicate of chapter 1.

Well, crumbum. It was fine before. I made some edits yesterday to add the art. I wonder if that messed it up? I will got fix. Thank you for letting me know!

eta: All better! AO3, I don't know what you do, sometimes.

Because books.

I really can't take any fic seriously that uses "limpid blue pools" unironically.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Well, at least it's not "his cerulean orbs."

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Is someone moving with a cat-like grace?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If it's my fic reading list, they're "merging with his mossy jade stare".

I quit reading at "limpid blue pools," so I have no clue. Someone was undoubtedly going to move with cat-like grace any moment, though.

I have no idea how I made it far enough into a fic that this line:

Sam glared; "don't... Even... I am absolutely knackered! My head is pounding... There was no milk so I'm having overly-sweetened black coffee... Just... Couldn't this have waited, Gabe?"

made me stop reading, because there's no way that was the first hint. But since Amy is setting a good example, I can learn from her determination and save myself the aggro.

Which is another word neither Winchester brother is likely to use.

Nothing pisses me off more. The American ethos of the show is so integral to it, it's just careless when Britishisms are left in. I'm not going to try and write East Enders fanfic and have them talking about baseball and McDonald's and elevators.
