I'm getting a lot of attention for some fic I wrote, like, 10 years ago. Maybe there's not very much Mary and Rhoda fic and people want it? Because since it's MMOM, I've gotten one or two kudos every May since, but that doesn't account for summer love in July and August. I'm pretty impressed that I can write Phyllis, though. [link]

Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
Brava, erikaj. I am always mildly amused at kudos for things I wrote 15 years ago in a fandom nobody pays attention to anymore. I assume there was some random Tumblr recommendation, maybe?
Maybe. Somebody told their friends, somehow. And I think, for a lot of women, Phyllis, with that combination of high-flown bitchiness and insecurity, is something of a sitcom version of a Jungian shadow.
Yes, it’s like how every now and then I get a random kudo for a Farscape fic I wrote back when it was still on the air. I mean, it’s nice, but what paths brought you to my door, oh dear reader?
Maybe slightly off-topic, but "Wired"(via Mastodon) talks about people using fandom in political life...I may finally be an OG at something. [link]
I don't have the link, but there's one where Isaac Chotiner interviews someone from Shirley Jackson's The Lottery, which you have to be a very specific type of Online to enjoy. It's pretty funny.
Here's the Chotiner pastiche: [link]
Hey,
Sorry for disturbing ongoing conversations, but I have a question regarding this thread's topic: ita's sister asked me if I can find some of ita's fanfiction for her to read (I've sent her links to ita's drabbles from TGWW thread here on b.org, and that's when she asked about the fanfic).
Does any of you have any idea where I can find that?
Thanks!
