Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That was pretty much what she was asking for in his bedroom

That's not how I read it. I think she wanted to be attractive to him in his bedroom. Via sympathy, if necessary. Not pity.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Although Sarah, pre-Osiris, doesn't really fit that mode. Well, nor Sha're, really.

They both pretty much flung him over their shoulder and dragged him back to their cave, though. Well, okay, not Sha're so much, but she got on board quickly (and he got to be Sensitive And Understanding in the "you mean we're married?" scene, which he always likes).

If I only had a brain...

If we're going for the pretty, I want the C/D/V three-way. More pretty, no waiting.

That's true. I think Vala would like to do that, but he's really got no reason to trust her, so I think it would end poorly if she tried it now (well, see this episode).

He really does, and that's key, I think -- he can't do that with Vala except just after she gets crispy-crittered, because the rest of the time she's scamming him. Or he suspects she is.

Anyway. Clearly they need to go on some long adventure together and spend three days running and hiding from people and get all sweaty and grimy and find common ground. Yup.

I fear that if they let Black and Browder indulge in their mutual chemistry, Shanks will be lost in the conflagration. And as Vala recently demonstrated, that takes a toll on the pretty. Better to keep their characters uninterested in one another.

I do see some signs of grudging affection amid the exasperation in Daniel, though it's not a sexual kind. Sort of a "best enemies" kind of thing.

If I only had a brain...

The best I get out of Daniel is "well, at least she's entertaining."

Except, no, I shouldn't encourage you. I need to encourage ADW! My priorities are slipping.

I think they've probably hit their midterm break by now, yeah. They take a summer vacation and start shooting again in the fall, or something like that.

So, no, Betsy, they're not done for the season. I suspect that given the strong response, we may see Vala again. At least that's my hope.

Gah. You saw me up above: I just can't do banter. We need Shalott or Shrift or Dana to write it. I have hopes of Taf's new thing: she does good banter.
