Always Anti-fascist!

Kind of having delayed Yuletide anxiety...it seemed fine while I was writing it, but what if she doesn't think this is funny? I thought it was funny, but, as life tells me over and over, I'm a freak. And a chimp with the Tech...what if I never get it uploaded properly? And I have stupid hair.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

In reverse order:

1) You hair is fine.

2) You are not a freak. You are a geek, scary smart, and a very funny writer, but you are not a freak.

3) Continuing with the fine writer meme, even before I reading it I know it will be funny. Heck you made me appreciate Entourage. If the person you are writing for doesn't appreciate that will be a due to flaws in her taste, not your writing.

Always Anti-fascist!

Well, considering you've never seen all the gorgeous extras, number three is probably a point in my favor, as I can't just say it's all the tits.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Okay, the Official Yuletide Polar Bears of OMGWTFBBQ are officially circling. And they look hungry.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I can sympathize. I did not sign up, but somewhere along the line I picked up a pinch hit. I'm starting to wonder why I did this.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Hungry, hungry bears!

I don't need plot, right?

Ugh, I seem to have plot whether I like it or not. Also, research. Also, I am snowed in at a different house than 4/5 of my source material. AUGH.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

You guys have all my sympathy. I just posted my fic for the Kirk/McCoy advent community on LJ. 17,000 words since Nov. 30th. I didn't think I had it in me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This is not something I can consume at work, but it is described thusly:

If there's one thing that this year's Star Trek reboot was missing, it was Zachary Quinto reading graphic Kirk/Spock slash. [...]

Thanks to re-editing Quinto's audiobook version of the movie novelization, the internet now has Spork:

I had to make note of it somewhere.
