Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I don't have much other than Tony/Gibbs, but I do have a little gen. Give me a little to dig it out.

Gen recs. There is a little slash mixed in here, gen sometimes is used to let me know that there's a lot of other characters in the story besides the main 'ship. [link]

Tim/Abby, Gibbs/Tony: [link]

Gibbs/Tony pre-slash, to see if you can be convinced: [link]

And then a little more convincing with "first-time" fics for Gibbs/Tony: [link]

Anywho, I've got a total of 176 recs for NCIS, feel free to browse them. I think the heyday of good NCIS fic is pretty much over and done with, unfortunately. The communities I watch on LJ are posting fewer and fewer fic and the writing ability is going steadily downhill. It's very sad. Fortunately, ST XI has spawned nearly as much good fic in just two months as NCIS has in six years. I'm still catching up on all the best of the Kirk/McCoy fic that's out there.

brillig

Stuff to read, yay!

I'm taking a moral stand against Trek Remixed. I'm very old school when it comes to Trek.

Oh, excellent. I came out of STXI with that as my shiny new 'ship.

Oh, it's so fun, Anne! At first, I thought I was going to go Kirk/Spock, but then fell into some lovely, long, deep, thinky Kirk/McCoy fics that just grabbed me by the throat and wouldn't let go and now I'm all about them. My recs: [link]

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I am abashed to admit this, but I was actually both disarmed and charmed by this Sulu/Chekov piece. Dude, it's mpreg. Which I don't read. I dunno, man. Don't judge me.

And then there's the NuTrek seder. Very educational. And hilarious.

Hee. Never! If you like Sulu/Chekov, you might want to try this one: [link] It's a very sweet, hurt/comfort, PWP. I don't read or rec much of this pair, I find most writers tend to infantilize Chekov beyond belief. This one treats them both in a very adult, respectful, loving way.
