Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I guess I just have a preference for epics. I like stories I can settle down and sink my teeth into.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

SPN Big Bang is either just finished or finishing, which is where I was reading.

And I love epics, if done well. Some stories need room to stretch out in.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I've been trying to write an epic on my iphone.

It's slow going. At the rate it's taking me, I'll be done in 5 years. Which, at the rate it's taking me, will still only be about 35,000 words.

I read one Big Bang (SPN) this year that didn't tie up any of the lose threads, but felt like it reached a satisfying and earned conclusion never the less.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I've been trying to write an epic on my iphone

Well, at least it's already titled...

This is true. Though if I ever finish (hey! I can copy my texts now that I have cut and paste), I think An Epic on an iPhone is going to require a new name.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Tiger on the Subway?

Batman on a Rooftop?

So, does anyone know any good NCIS fanfic?

You looking for a particular ship, connie? I've got tons of DiNozzo/Gibbs recs on delicious.

I don't really have a ship, because I have a hard time seeing Gibbs getting involved with anyone he works with. But if you've got stories that make it believable, I'll read them. I'd really like to see casefiles that do the team interactions well. Or the standard "someone from their past" that's not necessarily an old romantic interest.

I take it back, Abby/McGee are very cute together--as long as they're in character.
