We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Perhaps it is Angelus that is the randy bugger, whereas Angel (a.k.a. Liam of the old skool Irish Catholic guilt, or equivalent) lumps "that one time" (or the many, many times) with Spike into the pile of Evil Things Angelus Did.

Or maybe he just doesn't want people to think that the poncy hair is actually his.

brillig

I'm with Ailleann. That's the sort of thing Angelus would do and Angel would feel wretchedly guilty for thinking about often.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Angel, or DB?

I was focusing on DB. I agree that Angelus seems more omnisexual than Angel.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got that you were, Perk - I was confused over Connie's distinction.

And I think Angel had Angelus reflexes, but was more self conscious.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

And I think Angel had Angelus reflexes, but was more self conscious.

Now I am picturing Angelus in a dance club doing the dance from She.

This amuses me to no end, and makes me wish for an AU where Angel lost his soul in the disco era.

Dana, speaking of Atlantis, if you know who The M is nowadays (artist formerly known as, etc), she's very amusingly pondering the similarities of Atlantis and Farscape. Bad Alien Chairs, Alien chicks who beat up the hero, hot shot pilots who are math geniuses, and so forth. I'm waiting for fic, but she claims it's not gonna happen.

Apropos of nothing, Dana got me to agree to start watching Atlantis. (I don't know why, since you guys have a huge number of good writers playing in your fandom, but hey. I guess this means more fic for me.)

But! Consuela, should I e-mail The M re: Farscape and re-putting-up of stories?

Heh. I think you'll like. Some interesting or pretty men, and fairly snarky dialogue. The women characters need some work, though. It's not Farscape, but it doesn't suck. And it is lovely, production design-wise.

should I e-mail The M re: Farscape and re-putting-up of stories?

I suspect she likes them where they are. When I asked why not put them on Leviathan, she said she didn't like to trouble anyone when she (inevitably) wanted them down again.

But I dunno, you can ask.

Probably so, but I think I'm going to make Dana watch some anime in exchange. It's only fair, right?

Hmm. Good point. I could make an exception and list them as off-site links. I'll suggest it, anyway. Gives her more control.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm not sure it had DB's full support, though I do think he played along well enough. I've read severel pieces in which he says "ANGEL IS NOT GAY."

I've read a couple too. But I've also read his Out interview where he called for them to add a boyfriend for The Host , laughed about his agent intending to pick him up at that dog park before settling for signing him as a client, and most improtantly seen outtakes of him grabbing Alexis on set and humping away in front of the cameras as a joke. I really don't think he had any problem with all the homoeroticism on the show, though he may have gotten tired of being asked about it in interviews.
