I was a horrible, terrible, huge Pacey/Joey shipper. And it was only fuelled by my increasing dislike of the Big Giant Head.
Yes. I will confess to this. Though I am also Sophia in taking a break from the series and returning for the end.

Pacey'n'Joey4evah!! (Shut up.)
I watched the entire run of DC in the span of several months during a TBS rerun (through the power of blessed St. TiVo) so I was able to FF through the more unbearable bits of S5 and 6. And I cried and cried during the finale because I am a sap.
Apparently both the Beek and Joshua Jackson may be coming back to the small screen next pilot season.
And I cried and cried during the finale because I am a sap.
Me too!
I did always regret how they seemed to change Joey's character from a headstrong tomboy to, well, something else. I always feel that Dawson's Creek had such potential to be really excellent and different, and just didn't.
And I cried and cried during the finale because I am a sap.
Me three.
See above re: Jen being my favourite character.
Isn't it funny that the girls from DC have gone on to have decent movie careers (the infamous Cruise-marrying notwithstanding) while the boys languished without much success?
Watching the fresh-faced Katie Holmes from S1-3 DC now makes me kind of sad.
...aaaand now I want fic. Damn it. Will not go trawling for McShep at school. That would be bad.
Why go trawling when we can happily provide? Here's a hilarious McShep story that's pretty work safe if I remember correctly: Neither an Ocelot nor a Raccoon Be
decent movie careers (the infamous Cruise-marrying notwithstanding)
I don't know. I've seen Katie Holmes in two grownup movies now, and she still hasn't convinced me she's not a waste of skin. Only about 1/3 of that could be attributed to the general Hollywood habit of casting women too young for the men they are foils for, and the rest is all Holmes looking like a helpless twidget.
That said, I'll gladly sit through a Katie Holmes movie if it means never seeing James Van Der Giant Head on a movie screen.
Katie was good in The Ice Storm. And I thought she was serviceable in Batman Begins, though easily the weakest of the main players.
I liked her in...oh, crap, that movie with Patricia Clarkson. Come on, Vonnie, help me out.
I liked her in Pieces of April.
I don't think she is a great actress, but I think there is something that makes people drawn to her. Except Nutty and my friend Maria, who appear to agree on the subject of Katie Holmes.
