You know, it's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Ah, Spred.

The pairing name that prompted me to make an archive, just so I could call it Buttery.

Man, I had too much free time two or three years ago.

brillig

Spander sounds like Spandex, which makes nice pictures in my head when thinking of Spander in Spandex.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

Especially when "Jizabeth" was just sitting there, waiting for them.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hey, does anyone know of any Brokeback Mountain fic written by guys?

It's for a friendsister, I swear.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I've not seen any in the places I frequent, although plenty of discussion is going on. I'd suggest keeping an eye out for the celebrity section of the What's New? page at nifty.org... that seems the most likely place for it to crop up.

Fleshing out untouched parts of the timeline in Annie Proulx's story has to be a bit daunting given the current pedigree of the story, but I'm sure there are writers out there somewhere who wouldn't be intimidated. (Good writers may be less certain, however...)

Thanks Matt. I'll pass that on.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I've only seen fic by one person, and she's not a he.

Ever fired your gun in the air and yelled, 'Aaaaaaah?'

Pru has written a House fic. Go forth, read, and laugh.

I think I saw some links to BBM fic on Destina's LJ, but again with the written-by-slashers and therefore probably women.
