The only thing I can possibly think of is that
maybe
their software doesn't handle duplicate titles well.
But I suspect it may be an "each story is a snowflake" issue, and I guess I'm just not nice enough to care if an author's feathers get ruffled over duplicate titles.
They're running off efiction, I think.
Offer to change it to "The Widening Gyre".
I should also change the summary to "Rodney thinks about his relationship with John."

I'm sure I could figure out something, if I had any plans to change the title. I think they're nuts, and I can't figure out how to even reply to their e-mail without implying that, so I'm leaving it alone.
