No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cindy, it started with me wondering what "Dancing With Tears In My Eyes" was really about -- I'd assumed love, but then ...

The man on the wireless cries again - it's over it's over.
Dancing with the tears in my eyes

It's late and I'm with my love alone

We drink to forget the coming storm.
We love to the sound of our favourite song: over and over.
Dancing with the tears in my eyes

It's time and we're in each others arms

Honestly, I don't know. But I do know about most of Nik Kershaw's songs (I Won't Let The Sun Go Down On Me, Human Racing, etc), Enola Gay by OMD (not political, but depressing and popular, and not about love), Two Tribes by Frankie Goes To Hollywood -- off the top of my head.

I'm sure I did, but I remember about 3 videos from the 80s. And they have Prince in them.

I don't remember a *lot* of the video (because it always made me cry), but I'm pretty sure shots of a couple dancing in a desolate landscape (and/or as the outside world was being destroyed) were in it. I'm sure the video is floating around on the Web somewhere, but I'm not going to go look for it and start crying at work.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

DH just emailed me to say that FedEx has delivered my new computer.

That means I get to fake a heart attack and go home early, right?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Isn't it almost time to go, Jess?

And, with a heart attack, you can just take the long weekend.

People will want to visit you. Fake a stomach ailment -- they'll leave you alone with your new computer.
