"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

A dilemma. I have forgotten my wallet. I am going out tonight. Should I just swan off now and go get it (therefore having money for lunch), or should I wait and leave at 5, go home and get it?

My job can be really random sometimes. I just gave someone driving directions out of DC.

You know, I'd internalized the rounding rule. When it was explicitely stated, I went huh. And then I realized I did it automatically. Weird.

Swouncing

therefore having money for lunch

What are the lunch options if you don't have money?

Oh, thanks, Nilly! I've been around occasionally, but I come & go at random. I'm like the wind. Or Colonel Flagg. (And yeah, I was just brattily nitpicking about a GPA not being a statistic, because that is my way. I agree with your actual point.)

I never heard of rounding to evens until I worked for a place that does statistical research, so I'm more surprised by the people who have heard of it than the people who haven't.
