I know! I was just going to say that resembled the ILM line drawings.

"Awww.... who's the cute little wee dark lord?"

I was just brattily nitpicking about a GPA not being a statistic

Never apologize about having fun with numbers!

Galoshes are the rubber-sort-of-boots that he's wearing? So that he could jump into puddles without getting his feet wet and his parents worried?

Yep. Galoshes on kids are adorable x 10.

When we were in Hawaii a few years ago, there was a kid in shorts and red galoshes who was marching around a restaurant. He was cute enough to scoop up.

Known as wellie (for wellington) boots where I come from. I agree with y'all that the boots totally make that costume.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I say swan off now, Vortex.

I use the round-to-evens rule in all cases because that way I only have to remember one rule, rather than deciding which one to use in each case. But that's just me.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Galoshes used to also be called "rubbers," but that's gone out of common usage, for obvious reasons.
