Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Does anyone know if it's possible to be asleep and dreaming, yet still physically aware that one is lying in bed?

Yes. Strong painkillers can do that for me. Sometimes this happens to me even without the drugs. Lack of sleep can result in dream weirdness.

That would be good, because that means I got a little more sleep than I thought.

I wonder if that kind of sleep does any good, though. Granted, I've been drag-ass on 6+ hours sleep that day after sometimes, where getting only 2 or 3 a lot of times doesn't seem to slow me down the next day at all.

Yeah, I don't think that is a deep sleep, which is what you really need.

Art Crawl!!!

I loved that Lorelai proposed - that was very satisfying. I think that Rory is WEAK. A quitter.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

the British MP who ripped the US Senate a new one

I saw some of that last night on the news. (And was surprised it hadn't been a topic of Natter.) Who better to whip out the bitter righteousness than a Scot? He was relishing each and every R he rolled.

Watched some of House. But was clicking around and so spent probably 60% of the episode very confused.

Could not get up this morning. Feel like tenderized meat.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am finally starting to feel human again, but I have no idea what day it is. I mean, I know in my head it's Wednesday, but I don't have a real Wednesday feeling about today. I guess soon enough, I'll be in an office four days a week, so I'm trying to make the most (or the least!) of my little vacay here.

Art Crawl!!!

I watched the News Hour (whatever the PBS Lehrer show is called) precisely so I could see the footage of the MP in the Senate.

Fun.

Feel like tenderized meat.

I'm sorry Nutty.

I saw House for the first time last night and was pretty impressed.

Teh coffee gods have forsaken me.

I'm very sorry, shrift. Woe indeed. Maybe you could sacrifice a server to them?
