Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am finally starting to feel human again, but I have no idea what day it is. I mean, I know in my head it's Wednesday, but I don't have a real Wednesday feeling about today. I guess soon enough, I'll be in an office four days a week, so I'm trying to make the most (or the least!) of my little vacay here.

Art Crawl!!!

I watched the News Hour (whatever the PBS Lehrer show is called) precisely so I could see the footage of the MP in the Senate.

Fun.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Feel like tenderized meat.

I'm sorry Nutty.

I saw House for the first time last night and was pretty impressed.

Teh coffee gods have forsaken me.

I'm very sorry, shrift. Woe indeed. Maybe you could sacrifice a server to them?

What is even happening?

Teh coffee gods have forsaken me. Woe.
What? How is this possible? Can you repent?

Today is my Friday. I have the rest of the week off.

Gak, it's almost 11. I need to do some work.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Bless TAR for ending last week, because my Tivo stayed on the WB, and caught the end of GG even though it was technically One Tree Hill by that point.

I think that Rory is a gifted only child who's spent her entire life being told how perfect and special she is, and has just been slapped in the face by reality for the first time. And I love it.

I just hope that next season picks up right where this one left off, instead of flashing-forward like they usually do. I need to see the end of that conversation!

on catch up:

only 4 men talk during meetings and they are the only ones who get heard in decisions.

It’s the male bitch cabal.

(that means "Me, naturally." msbelle)

don’t be a twit.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Careful! If you use up all your work too quickly, then what will you do?
