that's AWESOME, msbelle! I'm super impressed.
We started standardized testing today. They gave us 2 hours to take a 10 question practice test. Can we say idiotic? So I'm writing sub plans for next week and my students are playing board games like boggle, mancala, cranium, or card games like uno. Ugh.
Hey, Kat, happy day-after-cake-iversary!
Thanks, Nilly! how are you?
Happy belated cake-iversary, Kat and Lori! Happy belated anniversary, Hec & JZ!
See what happens when I barely read the board and skip and skim when I do? I miss important things. Speaking of...back to work.
WAT -- finally watched. I didn't notice that the creator had directed and written the episode. I just assumed that it was an episode pandering to the actor. They just shouldn't go to the wacky
episodes about the character rather than dealing with an actual missing person's case.
Jack and Bobby - I rewatched. I still teared up when Jack
sees Bobby packing the portraits he's had taken
and during the
scene between Jack and Juan
and at the end. I hope that they bring it back. I noticed that it wasn't on this list of shows that were confirmed as coming back. . . and they didn't list the shows on the bubble.
No word on JoA either.
Grey's Anatomy - I'm glad that they took Christina's character where they OBVIOUSLY should have in that situation. It was also interesing that
the patient made the decision that she did. And hey, was her husband played by Ping from the AARP ads? I love those ads.
sumi, I totally agree WRT WAT.
Morning, peeps! Congrats to Dana and MsBelle!
Still recovering from having someone I liked actually win Survivor. First time that's ever happened. And another thing--
I wish Jeff could have asked the group if they felt differently after seeing the series and seeing what actually went on. Tom would have seen that Gregg was fixated on getting him out and that Ian did say he was going to vote Tom off, not to the girls but to the camera. Anmd they all would have seen Katie's flip-flopping.
how are you?
Not supposed to be here but playing a bit anyway?
That's a strange way to spell "really busy", isn't it? The semester is a bit crazy, and I'm way behind on all sorts of stuff I have to do. Oh, and we found a new roommate! She's several years younger than the average age of me and my roommates, but she doesn't seem to care (most girls her age wouldn't even consider flatmating with senior citizens like me and my roommates). She seems really nice, and I hope all of us will get along well. I really miss the one that left, but she got married and is really happy, so I forgive her for leaving, kind soul that I am.
On GA, I was wondering if they were using
the patient's decision to "balance out" Christina's, or at least show that different women will make different decisions.
eta: I'm glad you found a roommate you think will work out, Nilly.
