Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Going to see Tanglefoot(a Canadian band that does Celticish folk rock. Very high energy) in concert tonight.

I'm prone to delete praise. Mainly because I have 2K + messages and I usually just save the stuff that documents work tasks or problems.

I'm having a very strange dinner. Shredded cabbage & tuna in a oriental chicken salad dressing, maple marinated pork thing and ranch wheat thins. I didn't feel like turning on the oven. It isn't too warm inside, but...still no a/c!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's why you need a "good stuff" paper file. Just print it out and throw it in there.

Yup. Of course, since I realized that, all the good stuff has been verbal. Or it is covered in my performance evals, so I do have it on hand.

Two pathetic school questions: 1) I have a project I already did a powerpoint on. Now I have to do an "executive summary" to hand in. It should be pretty much the powerpoint, made into sentences, right? 2) I just realized I slightly misinterpreted some of my data, but the prof won't know. Can I just stick with the misinterpretation, or is that Just Wrong?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

yeah, I rarely get praise via email. Most of teh stuff I have been deleting is crap about meetings from months ago and outdated data that I emailed to people months and months ago.

yes, but shorter.

2) I just realized I slightly misinterpreted some of my data, but the prof won't know. Can I just stick with the misinterpretation, or is that Just Wrong?

well, if the assignment is to summarize the powerpoint, then summarize with the misinterpreted data. add a footnote if you feel better.

Danke, Vortex. I'll make sure the people who would actually use the data know the truth, but not sweat changing it for the prof.

I can't remember the last time I actually have been able to keep up in here. How's things? And stuff?

I am vague in my officiousness.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Oh, did I mention the freaky dream I had last night about growing up in decrepit tract housing with a little brother and sister and the actress who played Apollonia on Carnivàle as our mom? There were all sorts of weird guilt-ridden family dynamics going on with more distant relatives (who didn't correspond to any actual relatives) while waiting at a hospital. And rhinoceroses in the back yard.
