Gift certificates are an excellent gift.
I never liked bacon all that much.
My second load of laundry is in the washer.

My laundry is in the laundry room. One of the washing machines is done, but laundry's still in it. I paused, thought, and just left it there. Especially since all the driers are full.
I don't have the energy to get into it with anyone today.
I changed the battery in my car. Go me!
Of course, needing to change the battery because my car wouldn't start meant that I missed my niece's softball game and her first homerun of the season. Boo!
I still need to do my laundry. Another exciting Saturday night.
I am trying to convince myself that I really don't want to get dressed and go get sushi and ice cream for dinner, but I think I may be losing that argument.
I think I hear it sleeting, outside. *thunk*
I've had L&O:SVU on in the background for half an hour, and I finally have to turn it off. It's been at least twenty minutes of actors screaming their lines and calling each other perverts, with no discernable forward motion of the plot. This show only exists so that Chris Meloni can sweat and shout invectives at people. No wonder I never watch it.
Dude, the new Doctor is hot. If House were this sort of cranky, I'd rapidly develop some sort of exotic disease. Hell, I think I'm shipping him with everyone because, well, who wouldn't jump his bones?
It's possible I need something else to do with my Saturday nights.
I...uh, sometimes enjoy it when CM shouts at people, but I've been out of the habit lately,
I love bacon and getting gift certificates, and I'm doing laundry.
And, yes, the new Doctor is hot. And endearing.
I would like to polish my nails, but that doesn't go well with doing laundry. And so goes my Saturday evening.
Oh, and I'm watching original Battlestar on DVD. Fred Astaire did an episode of Battlestar Galactica. Who knew? Not I.
And endearing.
Yes! His weaknesses, the ones that drive the cranky, are so adorable.
I want one.
Or a life.
Wait? Could I have both?
