Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

Pretty much. There's a lot of glee at my injury. She usually laughs hardest after "There was blood everywhere."

sounds like she's mastered "eeeevil".

I am very disappointed that I can't seem to make the steel cut oats so well on my electric stove.

ita, we have a gas-fueled camping stove we can lend ya. Several, actually.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The whole Rumsfeld Supervillain thing explains why Cheney is so frequently in hiding, if you ask me.

I have this small crockpot (I think...I suck at estimating volumes): [link]

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sophia, I would listen to ita when it comes to bruising. Just tell your boss you have a potentially infected edema from a work-related injury....

Weren't there supposed to be April flowers somewhere in there?

NO FLOWERS TIL MONDAY!!!

I stayed up way too late, but only woke up moderately too late. So now I'm sleepy AND half the day is wasted. Bah.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

I stayed up way too late, but only woke up moderately too late. So now I'm sleepy AND half the day is wasted. Bah.

My boss asked me to come in 45 minutes early to make sure the phones were covered while he was on a Super Important Conference Call. (yeah, whatever). Getting up an hour earlier was hard! At least he said he'd let me leave work early.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

A blowtorch.

Oh, where's the fun in that?

The words are in English, and grammatically correct ... yet ... can't make head nor tails of them.

Just tell your boss you have a potentially infected edema from a work-related injury....

Absolutely. And from listening to Steph, deep bruising and a strep infection -- FLESH EATING BACTERIA (uh, that's for your boss's benefit, not yours -- you'll be fine. though don't tell your boss anything, nosy parker).

we have a gas-fueled camping stove we can lend ya

There's got to be a way. I will find it. Luckily, as mentioned upthread, really easy to clean.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

And from listening to Steph, deep bruising and a strep infection -- FLESH EATING BACTERIA

Yeah! But try not to actually have it, okay?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

ita, you should get one of those rings people use with woks - it'll raise the pot an inch or two above the burner and make it much easier to cook at low temps.
