Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Jilli, go for it. Make it a perky, light pink and lace thing.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Jilli, of course you should. Silly.

I just sent off the email. One of the answers I had to include was Three words that describe your personality". I listed whimsical, elegant, and witchy.

(I'm hoping for some sort of stripey corset, but I'm sure I'll be amused by whatever I end up with.)

brillig

Given the state of the world today and what they want to do to drivers' licenses, I finally broke down and sent off to Pennsylvania for a copy of my birth certificate. All I've ever had was a small certificate that listed me and my parents, nothing about where I was born and all that. I'm pretty sure that's not going to cut it. Besides, I should get a passport, if comes the day that I want to break for the border. If only to go visit Elena in the Great White Northeast.

Mostly, just the combination of end-of-semester and being sick is making everything 20 times more difficult than it needs to be. I had to give a presentation today, and I've got a bunch of stuff due and a bunch of papers to grade, and trying to do all this with a low-grade fever and infected tonsils and about four hours of sleep a night is just not working.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

WOOHOO!!!! It's quittin' time. Now I go BBQ, drink, lay on the beach, eat at fancy restaurants, sip cocktails by the firepit, and be TOTALLY LAZY for 3 whole days! Have a lovely weekend, y'all.

Also, a guy asked me out, and it's been way too long since that's happened, and this is a guy I actually like, and I had to say no. Feh.

Sounds like fun.
