Aw, Hec, very cool. Would make me want to lurk again, but I'd have to shut up, so, nsm. I don't understand people who are curious enough to do that, but don't join in, but then not everyone is a feedback fiend like me. Best wishes for the Burrells. ETA: I'm completely physically healthy again, but last night was plagued with worrying thoughts, so mentally I'm still a "Disneyland of the human heart"(that has to be my earliest H:LOTS reference ever.)

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Fear of not being cool? or of being ignored?
Oh, except for the Rules trainwreck, back in the day.I didn't join that because the thought of a lobotomy freaked me out.Y'all lurkers, if I am here, how high can the cool bar be? Working my low self-esteem in a good cause since 2001.
And then when we were packing up, a very nice, lovely woman approached me and asked me to sign her book. Then she said, "Actually I'm a lurker who supports you in email."
Too. Fucking. Cool.
Hi, Dee, if you're lurking.
easy-induction/delivery-ma for Burrell.
And then when we were packing up, a very nice, lovely woman approached me and asked me to sign her book. Then she said, "Actually I'm a lurker who supports you in email." She said she'd been lurking on the boards since back in the TT days, and was in town for the event and decided to swing by. Made my night
That is SO cool!
Hmmm, the (happy) plague of schmoopiness is spreading rapidly throughout Buffistaville.
Could you hire a teenager to come and spread the fertilizer and then do the non-chemical stuff yourself?
I think once the first batch of chemical stuff is done, I should be able to do all future mowing, etc. The funny thing is, I actually thought this guy was a teenager/early 20s guy...my friend who referred this guy is a professor at a local community college and he described this guy as a student. He probably is a student, but he also mentioned that he's a grandfather.
In my experience, some people find out DH is deployed and what to charge me way less. Others find out he's not here and want to charge me more. I guess it all balances out in the end.
Yay for lurkers, and boo on people overcharging Stephanie. Evil.
That seems like alot of money for yard work, Stephanie. My MiL was just complaining about her gardener type people who fertilize her lawn and feed the trees (someone else cuts the grass) costing too much at $60/visit.
So nice to read of the Andi/Daniel schmoop.
Well, he could be a grandfather in his 30s (or I suppose mid-20s, but that's just squicking me out).
